IND vs AUS: The Indian cricket team is currently fighting a four-match Test series against Australia. After winning the first two matches of this series, Team India had to face defeat by 9 wickets in the third Test. Team India’s veteran batsman Virat Kohli’s performance in this series has been very poor. An Australian bowler remains a big problem for Virat.
This player is a problem for Virat
Australian spinner Todd Murphy, who made his Test debut in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, dismissed veteran batsman Virat Kohli thrice. Matthew Kuhneman, who made his debut against India in this series along with Murphy, has also bowled brilliantly. Both these new bowlers have supported the experienced Nathan Lyon well. The 22-year-old Murphy has taken 11 wickets at an average of 21.81 in the first three Tests of the four-match series. He took just one wicket in the Indore Test but that wicket was of Kohli. He bowled economically from one end which benefited the other bowlers.
Kohli is enjoying taking wickets
Murphy is enjoying bowling against Kohli. He said it was great. When I look back at Nagpur, when Kohli came to the crease, I was bowling with full rhythm. I was thinking it would be fantastic to bowl to such a player at this point of time.
Target will be to get out again
In Indore, Murphy picked up the wicket of Kohli when he was looking in good touch. When asked about the plan against Kohli, Murphy said that it is always nice when such success comes. I think while bowling ’round the wicket, we try to hit the edge of the bat. Our plan has worked so far and to get them out again will be fantastic. In the last two Tests of the series, Australia fielded three spinners.
