
Oppo’s first foldable smartphone Find N2 Flip is all set to debut in India on March 13. The global launch of this new handset was done by the company in February. Since then, expectations and speculations have started in India regarding this. This is the company’s first clamshell folding device. The direct competition of this phone will be from Samsung’s flip phone Z Flip 4. Regarding the price, it is estimated that its price can be around 80000 to 1 lakh.
While announcing this phone, Oppo had said that Find N2 is the second horizontally foldable device from the company in China. It was launched in December last year (2022), and it is yet to be launched outside India. We all know that the global market is mainly dominated by Samsung’s foldable smartphones, but Motorola was also one of the big game changers in the category. Now, Oppo is said to be the only company to unveil its clamshell folding smartphone called Find N2 Flip.
The price of Find N2 Flip smartphone has been kept at £849 (about Rs 84,500) in the UK market. And based on the pricing of the UK market, we expect the device to come with a price tag of Rs 80,000. Which is comparatively less than the price of Galaxy Z Flip 4 from Samsung.
Oppo Find N2 Flip: Features
The new Find N2 Flip smartphone will come with a 6.8-inch AMOLED LTPO primary display, which supports 1,600 nits of peak brightness. It comes with a refresh rate that can be increased between 1Hz to 120Hz. On the top flip, the device sports a 3.62-inch Cover OLED display (382 x 720-pixel resolution). The smartphone is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 from any shattering or scratches.
Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset, the device will come with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of storage capacity (with UFS 3.1 storage). The device runs on Android 13 operating system, which is based on ColorOS 13 and features MariSilicon X NPU for better image processing, the company said. The smartphone houses a 4,300mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The device comes with HDR10+ support along with 97 percent DCI-P3 coverage.
For those who love to do mobile photography, the device comes with a dual-camera setup on the rear panel that houses a Hasselblad 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary shooter and an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultrawide secondary shooter. Find N2 Flip’s inner display has a 32-megapixel camera for selfie. Also, would like to mention that the device is capable of taking selfies from the main cameras as well. The outer display can be used as a viewfinder for selfies.
