Bhopal: A case of breaking of a Shivling has come to light from Damoh in Madhya Pradesh. As soon as this news came to the fore, the police of the area swung into action and started investigating the matter. The statement of Brijesh Pandey, SHO of the area has also come to the fore on this incident. He said, ‘There was a temple built in the open outside the town, which was open from all three sides. It has been broken by a miscreant. We have registered a complaint in the matter and investigation is on in the matter.

According to media reports, the matter is related to Madiado area. There is an old small Shiva temple near the Government Girls Hostel, where people gather every day to offer prayers. But on Monday, when people reached here for worship, they saw that some anti-social element had misbehaved with the Shivling. During this, a big stone was also lying near the Shivling.

In such a situation, people expressed apprehension that the Shivling has been broken with this stone. There is anger and despair among Shiva devotees after the incident came to light and they are demanding arrest of the culprits in the matter.

Let us inform that recently a Shiva temple was also targeted in Dharampura area of ​​Damoh district headquarters. During this also the talk of breaking the Shivling came to the fore. However, the accused was caught.
