Former Indian team batsman Suresh Raina took retirement from international cricket in the year 2020. Then after this he was not bought by any team in the IPL auction. Then he retired from all formats in the year 2022. He will now be seen playing for India Maharaja in the Legends League Cricket (LLC) Masters. Raina is an expert batsman in explosive batting and changes the course of the match in just a few balls.
Suresh Raina gave this statement
On his association with Legends League Cricket Masters, Suresh Raina said in a media release, “I am looking forward to being a part of LLC Masters. The format is such that we will represent India again. It is always a pleasure to represent your country. We will focus on bringing home the trophy this time. LLC Masters, which has three teams – India Maharajas, Asia Lions, and World Giants.
The first match will be on March 10
Raman Raheja, Co-Founder and CEO, Legends League Cricket said, “We have added around 20 new senior players to the pool of fifty players for this season. We welcome Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh to Legends League Cricket. We hope to see some great innings from these legends for India Maharaja. The first match of Legends League Cricket Masters will be played between India Maharajas and Asia Lions on 10th March.

Suresh Raina is the first Indian batsman to score a century in all three formats for India. He also scored a century on Test debut. In the ODI World Cup 2011, he played many important innings, due to which the Indian team was able to reach the final. He has also been a part of the Indian team that won the Champions Trophy 2013. He has scored 768 runs in 18 Tests, 5615 runs in 226 ODIs and 1605 runs in 78 T20 matches for Team India.
