How will be the pitch of Ahmedabad
The pitch at the Holkar Stadium in Indore was rated poor by ICC match referee Chris Broad, but the Gujarat Cricket Association would not want to take any such chances. Nothing will be different this time too.
With less than four days left for the Test match to begin, it is not yet known how the pitch will fare when BCCI curators Taposh Chatterjee and Ashish Bhowmik take charge here. “Obviously the BCCI’s ground and pitch committee has been giving instructions to the local curators for the past few days, but definitely our effort is to prepare a good Test match pitch,” he said. The last time two Test matches were played in Ahmedabad during the Corona epidemic. Both these matches were day-night and these matches were over within two days. All the matches played in the Border Gavaskar series have ended within three days so far. In such a situation, questions are being asked about the pitches.
