WPL 2023: In India, the women’s T20 league is going to start from March 4, like the historic Women’s Premier League i.e. IPL of men’s cricket. Just a few hours from now, the fanfare will begin when women will be seen making a splash in WPL just like in IPL. Five teams are participating in the first season. All the teams will play two league matches with each team. The entire season will be played at the Brabourne Stadium and DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. The final match of the tournament will be held on March 26 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.

If we talk about the format of the tournament, then each team will play 8-8 league matches. Means every team has to play every team and every team will have 2-2 matches against every team. As the team of Mumbai Indians will play two league matches with RCB. In this way, when all the teams will play 8-8 matches, then the top team of the points table will directly make it to the finals. On the other hand, there will be an eliminator match between the number 2 and number 3 team on March 24. In this match, the losing team will go home with number 4 and number 5. The winner of the eliminator will face the table topper in the final on March 26.
