Greenery returned to the stock market after 8 days, Sensex jumped 449 points to cross 59 thousand

Share Market The period of continuous decline for the last 8 days came to an end on Wednesday. The stock market managed to close in the green on the back of buying in banking, IT, pharma and FMCG stocks. The BSE Sensex jumped 448.96 points and once again crossed the 59 thousand mark. At the end of trading, the BSE Sensex closed at 59,411.08 points. Similarly, there was a good boom in NSE Nifty. The Nifty closed at 17,450.90, up 146.95 points. In today’s trade, SBI shares included in the Sensex gained the most by 2.57%. Sensex gainers included SBIN, AXISBANK, TECHM, INDUSINDBK, TCS, HCLTECH, MARUTI, TATA STEEL, TATAMOTORS, KOTAKBANK, WIPRO, NTPC, RELIANCE, BHARTIARTL, BAJAJFINSV, NESTLEIND, BAJFINANCE and INFOSI. Out of 50 stocks included in the Nifty 50, 45 closed in gains and 5 closed in weakness. Adani Enterprises was the top gainer in the Nifty with a gain of 15 per cent.
