An official of Madhya Pradesh Cricket Organization (MPCA) gave this information on Tuesday. The official said that a big brass bell has been installed in front of the dressing room of the players at Holkar Stadium.

He said that five minutes before the start of cricket on each day of the India-Australia Test, different celebrities would formally signal the start of the game by ringing this bell. With this, Holkar Stadium in Indore will join the ranks of famous grounds like Lord’s in London and Eden Gardens in Kolkata, where the tradition of starting an international cricket match by ringing a bell is followed.
The statue of this legendary player will be unveiled
The official informed that before the start of the India-Australia Test, a statue of India’s first Test captain CK Nayudu will also be unveiled at the Holkar Stadium. He told that after the unveiling, there is a plan to keep this statue in the proposed museum of MPCA. The statue unveiling ceremony will take place immediately after the toss and will be attended by India captain Rohit Sharma and Australia’s stand-in captain Steve Smith, as well as Richard Holkar of the former Holkar dynasty of Indore and former BCCI secretary Sanjay Jagdale.
