New Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal had made big promises when he entered Indian politics. Impressed by his words and promises, many people joined him. Thousands of people left their jobs and joined his movement. The Aam Aadmi Party first started its politics in Delhi and contested the assembly elections. No one got a clear majority in the elections but Congress and AAP together formed the government. This government lasted for a few days and the coalition broke down. After a few months, elections were held again and the people of Delhi made AAP win in a bumper manner. Today the Aam Aadmi Party is running the government in Delhi as well as in Punjab. In this political journey, many people joined AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal and many people left him, but now it is being said that Kejriwal has fallen alone while fighting with the investigative agencies of the Center.

Both ministers were considered strong hands of CM Kejriwal

The politics of Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party started on honesty and corruption-free governance. During this, Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain emerged as the right and left hands of Kejriwal. Both these ministers were considered very special to Kejriwal. This can be gauged from the fact that before resigning, Manish Sisodia was handling the work of 18 ministries in the AAP government. Today, when both the ministers resigned, the question arose that who will now handle 18 important departments? Sources are claiming that this ministry will be given to Kailash Gehlot and Rajkumar Anand.

How Kejriwal fell alone?

Arvind Kejriwal may be the face of the Delhi government but he does not have a single ministry. All the important departments were handled by his 6 cabinet ministers. A few months back, ED arrested Satyendar Jain in a money laundering case. Even after all the petitions, let alone bail, he did not get any relief. After which the responsibility of the Health Ministry was taken from him. Now Kejriwal’s deputy in the liquor scam and Sisodia, who is looking after the most important departments like Finance, Excise, PWD and Home Ministry, has also been arrested by the CBI. Even today, when they did not get relief from the Supreme Court, both the ministers resigned. Sources are claiming that initially Kejriwal did not want to accept the resignations but with a special strategy and under legal compulsion, he accepted the resignations.

Why did Manish Sisodia have to resign?

The CBI arrested Manish Sisodia on Sunday and today on Tuesday the Supreme Court refused to give him relief. Now a crisis has come in front of the Kejriwal government that how to carry forward the work of Sisodia who was looking after the work of 18 ministries? According to legal experts, there is little hope of Sisodia getting relief even during his appearance on March 4. This would have affected the functioning of the ministries and the opposition parties would have made an issue about it and it could have gone to court. After which it was possible that the court itself would have directed him to resign. To avoid all these hassles and to make resignation a political issue, Manish Sisodia resigned on his own.

What will Kejriwal do next?

After the resignation of Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain, it was speculated that someone else might be made a minister in their place, but sources denied this possibility. Only other ministers will see to the functioning of Sisodia’s ministries. Yes, but the Aam Aadmi Party will definitely go among the public regarding these resignations. The Delhi government is very aggressive about the education system of the state and looking at the activities of the last 2-3 days, it seems that now AAP will take Sisodia’s education minister’s image among the public. The work done by the government regarding education will play an emotional card among the public, so that it can be converted into votes in the coming elections. Now Sisodia will be in jail for the winning days, as long as your leaders and workers will be seen in the mode of their initial days, means agitating on the streets. The party that started with the movement will once again be seen agitating on the streets.
