PM Modi on Karnataka tour, will gift projects worth 6300 crores

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a one-day visit to Karnataka on Monday. Here PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 3,600 crore including the airport in Shivamogga. Along with the roadshow, he will also lay the foundation stone of several projects in Belagavi. PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of development projects worth Rs 2700 crore in Belagavi. At the same time, PM Modi will also release the 13th installment of PM Kisan in the account of farmers in Belagavi today.

PM Modi’s program in Shivamogga

In Shivamogga, PM Modi will inaugurate the recently built airport, which has been prepared at a cost of about 450 crores. Arrangements have been made here to accommodate 300 passengers every hour. This airport will improve the connectivity and accessibility of Shivamogga and other neighboring areas of Malnad region. Apart from this, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of two rail projects in Shivamogga. This includes the Shivamogga-Shikaripura-Ranebennur new railway line and the Kotaganguru Railway Coaching Depot.

The Shivamogga-Shikaripura-Ranebennur railway line will be developed at a cost of Rs 990 crore. It will provide advance connectivity to the Malnad region with the Bangalore-Mumbai mainline. At the same time, the Kotaganguru Railway Coaching Depot in Shivamogga city will be developed at a cost of more than Rs 100 crore, to help start the operation of new trains from Shivamogga.

PM Modi’s program in Belagavi

After this, in the afternoon, PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of development schemes worth 2,700 crores in Belagavi. Here the PM will dedicate to the nation the redeveloped Belagavi Railway Station building, for which Rs 190 crore has been spent. PM will release the amount of 13th installment of 16,000 crores of Kisan Samman Nidhi. This will benefit 8 crore farmers of the country. Under this scheme, eligible farmers are given three installments of Rs 2000 in a year. The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of 6 projects of multi-village scheme under Jal Jeevan Mission in Belagavi, which will be developed at a cumulative cost of about Rs 1585 crore and will benefit a population of about 8.8 lakhs in more than 315 villages.
