Murder of former Congress leader in Ramgarh

Jharkhand: Rajkishore Bauri alias Bidka, a resident of Tipla Basti in Bhurkunda police station area and representative of Congress MLA Amba Prasad, was gunned down by three criminals on Saturday night just two days before the by-election in Ramgarh district. A senior official said that when Rajkishore was talking to someone on his mobile near a petrol pump, just 100 meters away from his house, three miscreants came on a bike and opened fire on him.

He said that on the information of the incident, the police reached there and with the help of the local people, they took Rajkishore to the hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead. Station House Officer Amit Kumar said, “We have started the investigation into the murder and a search operation has been launched to find those involved in this incident.” Votes will be counted.

Because of this the Ramgarh seat was vacant

Congress has already announced regarding Ramgarh seat that the candidate on this seat will be of Congress only. This seat has become vacant after the resignation of the Congress MLA. Let us tell you that Congress MLA Mamta Devi had lost her membership after being convicted in the Gola firing case and this seat was vacant. Please tell that two people were killed and 24 people were injured in the firing. Mamta Devi, the accused in this scandal, has been sentenced to five years and according to the rules, Mamta Devi cannot participate in any election for the next 11 years.
