According to the Meteorological Department, a Western Disturbance will be active on February 28, which may cause rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. This year, there is a possibility of severe heat in the states of North India including Delhi-NCR. Many states including Bihar-UP, MP-Rajasthan-Punjab received negligible rainfall in February, due to which the weather remained dry. According to Skymet Weather, this time there is a possibility of severe heat in the month of March itself.

According to the Meteorological Department, in the next three days, the maximum temperature in northwest India is expected to increase by three to six degrees Celsius above the normal level. This means that the residents of the region will need to prepare themselves for some hot and humid weather conditions in the coming days.

The IMD has predicted a pleasant weather for Chennai as the weather is expected to remain clear today and in the coming days as well. Today the maximum temperature will be 31 degrees and the minimum will be 23 degrees.

The sky will remain clear in Kolkata and there is no possibility of any major weather change in the coming week. For today, the maximum temperature will be 34 degrees and the minimum will be 22 degrees.
